About

I'm an embedded systems engineer with a background in IT/Networking and automotive with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Right now I'm focused on hardware hacking and reverse engineering automotive embedded devices. Outside of code you'll find me playing video games, working on my car, and hanging out with friends

Experience

  1. 2025 — Present

    Test Equipment Engineer

    Toyota North America

Develop and maintain bench, in-vehicle, and mobile-app test environments for infotainment validation. I also built software and hardware to enhance processes such as a Python-based CAN simulation app, as well as an app to remotely flash software on head units, significantly reducing process time

  2. 2024 — 2025

    IT Technician

    American Airlines Center

Maintained servers, network devices, and venue-wide displays, resolved hardware, network, and POS tickets during live events, set up event networking such as access points, switches, and PDUs, and compiled end-of-day incident reports.

  3. 2023 — 2025

    IT Technician

    Six Flags Entertainment Corporation

Provided end-user IT support for Windows, POS, networking, VoIP, printing, and A/V systems while managing device deployment, inventory, lifecycles, and warranties.

Projects

Gauge Cluster Test Bench

Reverse-engineered an automotive gauge cluster and developed a closed-loop Python/ESP32 test bench with computer-vision feedback and an MCP server for agentic AI control.

HydraSense Fire Hydrant Monitoring System

I collaborated to develop a prototype solution for a remote fire hydrant monitoring system using a Texas Instruments TM4C123GH6PM microcontroller to collect valve, water-flow, and pressure data and transmit GPS-tagged MQTT telemetry over LTE to a web dashboard for live and historical monitoring.

Custom RTOS & Network Stack

This is a project combining two separate systems I wrote during college: a preemptive RTOS and a bare-metal TCP/IP network stack for the TI TM4C123GH6PM microcontroller. The RTOS features priority scheduling with preemption, and task stacks are isolated using the Memory Protection Unit (MPU). The custom TCP/IP stack implements ARP, IPv4, ICMP, UDP, TCP, DHCP, HTTP, and MQTT and communicates through an ENC28J60 ethernet controller over SPI.
